Through interviews with experts, IQ provides a succinct overview of the latest research, policy, and activism. Past issues have reported on teen-on-teen sexual harassment, funding for women and girls, immigration, affirmative action, and follow-up to the UN Fourth World Conference on Women at Beijing.

Sophie's Wind is a new literary magazine looking for daring, experimental and high quality fiction, poetry, and literary non-fiction, as well as original "hybrid" writing that exceeds, explodes, or rests some place in-between these traditional literary genres. The call for submissions to the premier issue, "Windy Borders, Bordering Winds," has a submission deadline of November 15, 1999.

Women in Judaism: A Multidisciplinary Journal Women in Judaism: A Multidisciplinary Journal is an academic, refereed journal published exclusively on the Internet, devoted to scholarly debate on gender-related issues in Judaism. The ultimate aim of the journal is to promote the reconceptualization of the study of Judaism, by acknowledging and incorporating the roles played by women, and by encouraging the development of alternative research paradigms. It is particularly intended to promote critical analysis of gender inequalities within Jewish religion, culture and society, both ancient and modern. The journal does not promote a fixed ideology, and welcomes a variety of approaches. Women of Note Quarterly is a journal/magazine of historical and contemporary women composers. It is published in February, May, August and November.
